What is Narrow Weaving / Narrow Fabrics?

Narrow fabrics are any elastic and non-elastic woven textile having a width from 5mm to 50mm and a woven selvage on either side. They are small strips of fabric, often designed for a specific and practical purpose. In our daily life we see lots of narrow fabrics like ribbons, back pack handles, seat belts, lingerie, zippers, bandages and curtain tapes.
